Exceeded my expectations I originally just wanted a second set to use when I send my Shuns out for sharpening or have guests to use.These arrived and I put them through the full paces in the kitchen today. All I have to say is WOW.They feel SOLID. Comfortable and quality. The handle complaints (about it not being wood) I donât understand. Knife culture is out of control! If you’re looking for a big heavy knife of this shape, then you should buy this. It’s good for cutting pizza, quesadillas, meat, meat with bone, meat again – without bone again, meat, garbage, and pizza. It cuts the living daylights out of vegetables but I like using a straight cleaver better if I’m dicing or want thin slices. This Chinese Vegetable Cleaver is now a staple at my cutting board. I’ve used this 7-inch Chinese Chef’s knife for a couple of months or so. It was received sharp out of the box. This knife is quite visually impressive, well finished, attractive, and easy to handle. Packaging was more than acceptable too.
