Best way to feed fish and corals I use this thing every day, to feed my reef fish, spot feed some shyer fish, and spot feed corals and anemones. The degree of control possible with Julian’s thing is unparalleled, you can’t match it with a simple baster.
Missing piece I took a gamble and bought this assuming maybe the other reviews were just a one off QC issue. Sure enough upon opening the package the tip was missing. It says in the instructions that the replacement tips can be purchased at your local fish store but thatâs not what I wanted since my LFS is an hours drive.
Excellent, versatile tool, particularly with a pack of spare tips. While this does require assembly, it’s primarily because you can leave one tube out if you don’t need the extra depth. If you follow the instructions and heat the silicone tubing in warm (not boiling) water, assembly is a breeze. When used correctly (I purchased a pack of extra tips), you can vary the size of the hole to the food and target feed everything from plates & anenomies to much smaller feeders, like favia & zoas. As long as you use your brain, this is an excellent tool.
