good old fart sack used this system for more than a decade and I have loved it more than any of the civilian sleeping bags I have ever bought. you could spend money on a Walmart sleeping bag just to have it fall apart after like 3 uses, or one of these that are tough enough to survive Infantrymen dragging it through combat, field training, and drunk camping trips all over the world for years.
I love this thing I love this thing. I got it put together and found out that my therm a rest fits perfectly inside it. This provides a lightweight comfortable system. This makes it not as compressible, but that is fine with me. Weight matters more than size in this case. I have not slept in it in the rain yet, but am making a resolution to sleep outside in this system once a week, even if it is just in my back yard. Best sleeping bag system ever I love everything about it. The thing was designed for the military with an endless supply of money so it is no surprise that it is awesome like most military surplus items compared to their consumer counterparts.My favorite thing is probably the velcro strap that keeps you from kicking open the bag while you sleep. It is bulkier than some bags and comes in around 10lbs for the entire 4 piece system, but you can ditch the tent if need be since the outer shell is waterproof. I…
