Poor sparks and lid clasp breaks Purchased this over a year ago and I have been nothing but disappointed with it. Giving it 2 stars because it works; barely. Only used it to start fire twice. Even saw this in an amateur survival show, which I guess is why it was used by amateurs on TV.
BlastMatch is so easy even kids can operate it (with proper adult supervision of course) Obviously, judging by my profile name, I’m a girl. When it is time for me to start a fire, I need something that works right the first time with my smaller hands and does not break all my short but feminine nails. I have used a number of strikers and fire starters with hilariously varying results. Most are okay-ish.
