The Uniden MHS235 handheld Marine radio meets the tough JIS8 submersible specification, and is packed with handy features like an emergency strobe light, all marine channels, built-in GPS with class D features, emergency STROBE light, AUTO plot to DSC distress call, glow in the dark PWR/PTT keys/seal, and WX/ Emergency Alert with S.A.M.E (Specific Area Message Encoding). Uniden has also designed the MHS235 to float so that a radio overboard is not a radio lost. The MHS235 also includes a free speakermic.
