This 16 mile range is a total lie. We … This 16 mile range is a total lie. We bought this for our group because we went to a country with no cellular reception. Each car had one walkie and a lot of times we were not able to receive signal. We were definitely only a few miles from each other. I know that trees and mountains does cause signal interference but don’t advertise as 16 mile range.

Very misleading title description My children and I have had these walkie-talkies for almost a year now. They work very well at a distance of up to almost 1 mile. The reason for the low star rating is even on the flat Terrain that I have been in they got nowhere close to working over one mile. The description says up to 16 miles. I cannot imagine what circumstance these would work up to 16 miles that is a very misleading statement and it is in the title description. I did give them 2 stars because they do work very well up…
