Just needs a good cleaning! When I first received this bladder I filled it with water and took a drink. YES it tasted like plastic really bad! I filled it up again let it sit for awhile poured the water back out and cleaned the inside with dawn dish soap and rinsed it really good. I opened it up and let it completely dry out. The next day I refilled it with water and took a drink. NO PLASTIC TASTE!! Since then it has been a great bladder! No leaks, holds plenty of water and no more plastic taste! I 100% recommended this…
Great quality for the price I purchased two 3L reservoirs as well as the cleaning kit. Surprisingly great quality for the price! See below for my pros and cons. Better than I expected. I haven’t used it on the trail yet, but this is exactly the bladder I was looking for. It is the same size as the 3L Camelbak bladder I am replacing. It fits perfectly in my 12 year old Camelbak Mule. This bladder says it holds 2.5L but is only 1/2 inch shorter than the Camelbak that is listed at 3L.I filled it with water and rinsed it out.
