Highly recommended I bought these radios for communication on the farm. We used to damage many radios due to our job. They fell on the ground from the tractor very often. But these ones seem to be durable, as they have been working good even we have dropped them several times, they don’t fall apart like those we used to own.We have tested these radios in about 2+ miles and they performed really well so far. Great, but illegal for general use Great radios, good range, speakers are lound and battery life is great, also they feel pretty sturdy for the price. However, make sure to also buy a programming cable and program to frs/gmrs frequencies, ones they come with are illegal to use, also will allow you to communicate with other brand radios if you program them. And just to note even if you program these to frs/gmrs frequencies, technically they are still illegal to use since are not licenced by fcc to use on those frequencies fyi…
Good New Design I like the new design. I work with a lot of different radios for my job from the cheap kind to the very expensive kind so I have a lot of experience with them. The channel knob and on/off volume knob seem way better constructed and has a good overall feel. I like the added USB charger slot that is built into the radio. I do wish since this was a brand new design they would have just gone for the USB C type plug but instead used the USB Mini plug like most cell phones currently use. The…
