Great for picnics I really like this for sunbathing in the back yard. and having it next to my son’s kid pool. I have not used it at the beach, but the pillows are a nice addition for laying out. It is lightweight but feels strong at the same time. The steaks help it stay put during windy times.
Happy to have this at the beach This proved to be more helpful than expected. usually when I go to the beach, we have one towel to put down and a few to dry off with. This mat allows us to put the same towels on the ground without getting so sandy that we can’t dry off with them. We don’t need to bring as many towels, which makes the trip to the beach lighter and easier.One time the water rolled over on the mat. The water came right off and did not get any of our other stuff wet or sandy.

Itâs also pretty large. The added stakes are a nice touch since this could blow away quite easily.
