Windblown tents, canopies, and umbrellas are the number one cause of injuries and insurance claims at outdoor events where canopies are used. Most canopy manufacturers recommend 24 to 50 lbs. per leg on a 10′ x 10′ canopy. Help secure your canopy with four 5 lb. interlocking weights for 20 lbs. total from US Weight. This set does not include a carry strap. Made in the USA from recycled plastic material and filled with natural, non-organic river-washed, screened silica sand, these interlocking weights securely capture the canopy legs up to 1 ¼” wide. The no-pinch design makes for easy, safe installation and removal. Trust US Weight to keep outdoor events safe.

Very useful way to hold the Easy up Down I forgot my stakes at a recent event. I just used these. Fortunately, it was not very windy and they worked very well. No problems and they also drew attention to the legs so no one tripped which was nice. I highly recommend them as I have been at events with high wind and rain. I haven’t tried that yet but I will use them with the states and hope for the best. I’m not sure they are heavy enough for high winds. You could get a second set and stack them on top but I don’t want to carry…

Could Be Better They are just okay. During a windy day, the tent legs will easily pull themselves out of these weights. There should be some kind of a clip mechanism to keep the legs in place. I usually double or triple them on each leg for very windy days; and I alternate which direction I put the slot side on, trying to mimic a clip. It doesn’t work all that well

They work as advertised but I highly recommend at least four of them on every leg of your canopy. I get some pretty decent winds that world through my backyard as I have a top-of-the-line easy up Bungalo cover over my Jacuzzi, four of these on each leg seem to hold it very well in position, this was not the case before I purchase the weights and install them. I’m happy with the purchase and the function ability of this product and I highly recommend them.
