Awesome Buy Five stars because that’s what my boyfriend told me to write. I purchased this knife for him to use at his work place as a meat cutter. He absolutely loves it.The shipping was pretty quick and it was easy to track on my amazon app. When the package arrived it was in a HUGE box for just one knife? Anyways, I was satisfied with the care that was taken to ship this product all the way to Hawaii.
Best Buy I’m a knife nut, and this one is a best balance between going full carbon and partial stainless. It’s not like my Sabatier Carbon Steel Knives, but It keeps a pretty decent edge, and the shape makes quick work of filleting fish. Far, far better than Bubba Blades, but of course far more expensive. Like my Sabatier’s, This Forschner is a life time knife.
Excellent butcher’s knife Before you consider, know that this is a butcher’s knife, designed for breaking down large pieces of meat. This is NOT a kitchen knife. If you are going to buy whole top sirloin butts, entire new york or rib eye strips, etc, and break them down into steaks, this is a great knife choice.If you’ve never done something like that, this will not be a good tool for you.
