How to use the Fire Opener?
Clean off a strip of black protective coating covered on the magnesium with the serrated edge of the scrapper.
Prepare a small quantity of dry grass, paper or other flammable material and build up into a small pile.
Put the rod in the center of the flammable material, scrape it hard and fast down to create sparks landed on the material.
For best results, hold the scraper at a 45 degree angle.
Multifunctional Paracord:
Can be unraveled into a 3 meters rescue rope and it has been tried & tested to a minimum breaking point of 550lbs/250kg.
You can use it from stabilize a tent to build a shelter, create hunter traps, create fishing lines, binding rafts or make a makeshift shelte and more.

Well made I bought this to give to my 14 year old Boy Scout nephew. He is thrilled with it! It seems to be well made and very sturdy. I think he will find it to be very handy. Any gift that makes me the favorite aunt is definitely worth 5 stars!
Functinal I really like this watch! It is functional and sturdy, love that the hands glow in the dark, and its constant ticking will drive you mad in total silence, but I am learning to deal with it. The compass stopped working around the first or second time I got it wet, and the whistle is hard to get to. It was a bit large for my wrist (I have TINY wrists) so I had to untie one side, trim the inside material, and then reweave it, and burn the ends back in place. Now it fits perfectly…
Love it – perfect for the outdoor or military guy I kind of got this as a joke for my husband (ex military) because he’s always saying he could survive the zombie apocalypse. He said it was a little thick to wear all day, but it was great as far as all of the gadgets and he actually likes it. We were able to start a fire (that was a big surprise) and all of the gadgets work well. Might be a treat for a boyscout (or girlscount), but honestly it’s a pretty cool thing!
