Good light good value I would say it is a good light, but perhaps not great. It is attractive and does put off good light. It is working well for the purpose I got it for. But when you handle it and look at it closely it feels a bit “cheaper” than I expected. that said, it is inexpensive. So for the price I would say it is quite good.
No wicks to trim; no lamp oil to light This lantern is just what I was looking for!. Its soft yellow light compares with the light from the classic paraffin lamps. It isn’t the stark white brightness of ordinary LEDs. I think this means it uses less power and extends the battery life, but I’m not an electrical engineer, and I haven’t tested it. I just know that the two D batteries provide enough power you don’t need to worry about having to replace them very often. It is perfect for providing low light guidance in power grid…
Terrific Lamps I had some doubt about how well these lamps would perform. No more. They are very nice. It is enough that those little bulbs are easy on batteries, add the brightness control and maybe the batteries will corrode before they lose power, lol. We had a power outage not long after getting the lamps and they were perfect.
