Good Value I’ve been using this daily for about 3 weeks now when I take the dog out at night to do her business so it’s one for anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. I wear it over a ball cap and the light so far has been very good. I have an old Princeton Tec head light (like 17 or 18 years old) with I think a kryton bulb. This little Vitchelo is at least 2 or 3 times brighter and lights about 3 times the area of the other. The Princeton does have great tilt though, allowing to about any position, not just 4…
Don’t “sweat” it!! I bought this product a year ago and had not used it until the last few months. It puts out plenty of light using 3 AAA batteries that seem to last for a reasonable length of time obviously depending on how much you use it but there’s something anyone thinking of purchasing this light should be warned about depending on its use. Had a Black Diamond for years that I liked better. While this had the red and white … Had a Black Diamond for years that I liked better. While this had the red and white lights which was nice, it was a pretty ‘average’ headlamp. The killer is that I dropped it and the plastic hinge broke and cannot be fixed. While it was an ok unit it is NOT very durable- made from light weight plastic – if you drop it, there is a good chance it will break.
