Easy install, works perfectly. Works perfectly, not hard to install for a normal Do It Yourselfer.My mini fridge had two Peltier Coolers. One worked, one did not. 55 degrees with one cooler working, 38-39 with two working. Numbers aside, my milk stays good until the pull date. I’m very happy, as this was a cheap fix.Make sure you buy the thermal paste, and watch a youtube video on how to install. 5-15 minutes.
Awesome, a great deal – but some assembly / parts required To find these pads for $3/ea is a crazy bargain, especially with Amazon Prime!
Fail to meet advertised specifications These chips don’t even get close to the manufacturer’s published specs for their TEC1-12706 chips. At 14.6 VDC with excellent heatsinks, they barely managed 3.4 amps and were unable to get the hot side heatsink to go much higher than 12-13 degrees (F) over ambient.
