After a month with coffee in it, there was zero funk! This carafe is awesome! At 51 oz, the carafe holds almost a full pot of coffee from my Coffee Ninja. What I love is how hot it keeps my coffee. With my preference for pricey blends, it’s important that I not waste coffee by letting it get cold or over “cook” on the heating element of my coffee machine. Using it for cold water pitcher only – pretty but just okay thermos/carafe quality-wise I got the blue – this is a pretty thermos but the quality compared to other thermos/carafe’s is very mediocre.It is extremely thin metal that makes a high pitch ting if you tap with fingernail.The plastic top areas weren’t cut out very well and have several areas that need trimming around the opening.Because the lid must line up just right to pour properly, it’s an issue for down the road.
