Cooling/Warming Modes
Offer both cooling and warming modes. Under cooling mode, anything inside will stay cool and reach max 36°F below ambient temperature. Under warming mode, items inside can reach approx. 140°F. A hot/cold/off switch has indicator lights indicate the mode in use. For optimal cooling, pre chill/heat your items to assist the unit to reach the lowest/highest temperature as quickly as possible. Anything inside will stay cool/warm for a while after the unit has been turned off. However, internal temperature will equalize to external surrounding temperature over time. An optional AC adapter accessory is available, Wagan item 9903, for additional use in the home, office or hotel (sold separately).

Magnetic/Removable Doors
The dual top-loading doors are magnetically sealed to keep the cold/heat in and are removable for easy cleaning. There is an additional storage area on the lid to keep the power cord neatly stored when not in use.

Worked for a road trip I used the Wagan 46 quart cooler on a 4 day road trip. It held all meals for those 4 days for 2 people. It was plugged in most of the time. I had a fridge thermometer in it at all times. It did dip below the safe zone a few times from opening at meal times, but it cooled off again quickly enough that I wasn’t concerned. For the rest of the time, it stayed perfectly in refrigeration target temperatures. I chilled some drinks from room temperature overnight, and the next evening they were cold. I…
Get REALLY Cold Came on time. When I received it, I plug it in to see that it worked. This cooler was plugged in 20 min. & it got real cold. Very happy with this cooler. My last cooler like this (different brand) worked for @ least 15 years b4 it died so, I hope the Wagan gets that many years of use out of it. I’m kind of lost without my 12V cooler. But I will say the Wagan cooler gets a lot colder then my old one. It holds a lot. I like that it cools from the top, my old 1 cooled @ the bottom side. It’s a lot…
