You get what you pay for. These are not as good as I was hoping they would be. Even at close range they often have a delay in transmission so that some of it is cut off. I have tried them in the city and out in the country where there is not a lot of interference. They had a longer range out in the country, but the performance was sub-par. Also, It is really easy to bump the channel buttons and change channels. They will work for my kids to play with, but are pretty worthless for what I needed them for.
Definitely a great buy, and a lot of fun to have Honestly when I purchased these Walkie Talkies as a Christmas gift for my son and I, I figured that I would be getting what I paid for . $30 I thought they would work around the house and that’s it. How surprised I was when my son could take them close to a mile away and have them work with a clear crisp sound. Definitely a great buy, and a lot of fun to have .
Good quality sound and solid construction. I live in an area with lots of humidity, periodic rain showers and sometimes blistering sun. These radios do not seem to mind the elements. I would not get the radio too wet but they do seem to handle âsomeâ dampness without getting finicky. I do like that when powering up the voice tells you what channel you are on. These little guys are really packed with good features if you purchase the correct cable and software to program them.
