Range is no where near listed This walkie talkie was meant for children and goes no where near the range described. Me and my friend tested this and it maybe went 6 blocks. I would say it was under a quarter mile to maybe closer to 1/8 of a mile. I guess you get what you pay for. This is good for children to play with but not good for hiking and communicating with other party members.
