Good so far I took the advice on here of using the O rings from the old Samsung filter on this one before installation an have had no leaks. The O rings that come with this appear to be a few microns too thin and feel like plastic unlike the Samsung O rings which have a rubberized feel. The Waterdrop filter inlets are much larger than the Samsung allowing for more water flow which is a bonus. As for the taste I cannot tell a difference over the Samsung. Finally!! A filter that fits and is priced correctly! Excellent option and fits refrigerators with Samsung “G” filter perfectly. Finally an option. Samsung and its resellers are getting greedy with the OEM filter. It used to cost around $25, which is a rip off in itself, but now everyone is charging $35 for it. Crazy! Samsung can keep their overpriced filter!!
Leaked. Had to use the old o-rings The product looked like the original, but was much less expensive. When I first installed the filter, it started leaking within a few minutes. It wasn’t a gushing leak, but small drops of water like a leaky faucet. I removed the filter and applied an o-ring lubricant on the o-rings. The leaks stopped for two days, but then started up again. I then removed the two o-rings and used the o-rings from the old filter. It’s now been two days and no leaks. I will update this review if it starts leaking…
