Works great, looks even better! This is a other home run for wazoo. Yes it works fantastic. I have over a dozen ferro fire rods for many applications. This tiny combo of ceramic and cerium works really well. For such a tiny and beautiful combo, it throws lots of Sparks. But beyond that, it looks and feel like authentic bush craft. Donât Belive the Negative Reviews So there are a lot of reviews on here saying the white cermaic striker is âplasticâ, itâs fairly thin which makes it feel pretty light but IT IS NOT PLASTIC! I use it to start fires all the time and it is absolutely CERAMIC. As with any ferro cerium rod, the black rod piece requires the outer coating to be scrapped off before it causes sparks. I have started fires with the jute cord used as a tag holder, a tinderquick fire tinder, and even just Kleenex. It absolutely works and starts a fire. As…
