I couldn’t be happier. I just received these, and they appear to be just what I was looking for. They strike a nice balance between being lightweight and sturdy. As others have noted, these plates are deep enough to serve as bowls and flat enough to work as plates. They’re perfect for serving stews. They measure 8 and 5/8″ across and 1 and 3/8″ high. My postal scale says each plate weighs a smidgen over 4 oz. They came in a nice mesh bag with a draw string. These plates are sized to work nicely as a lid…
Bowl and a Plate in one, nice looking and nice quality for the money. Little heavier than plastic stuff but… it’s not plastic!. A bowl AND a plate in one. Good quality. Nice looking.
More useful than expected For about the same price as a single MSR or GSI plate, I got 3 of these, in a mesh carry bag. The unexpected bonus, these plates are designed in a way they can be bowls as well. The pictures don’t display just how deeply they are dished, but it slopes gently so it’s usefulness as a plate isn’t compromised. I have no earthly reason to be carrying all 3 of these together, so the bag is repurposed. I found it’s just the right size to carry my 8″ MSR fry pan, and the plate fits right up against…
