Works for both of our needs. My daughter need a protractor in centimeters for her 7th grade math class, and I can always use another compass for my engineering sketches, This pack was the best for both worlds; it helped both of us out. The compass works as a backup to a backup, so I’m happy and she’s happy

It came with an inch of like 1. 5 mm lead Have no idea what size or where to get replacement lead. It came with an inch of like 1.5 mm lead.. Lead is not easily adjusted. I had to drill a hole through the plastic holding the lead to get the lead to stick out further. The pointy leg (stylus?) is longer than the lead leg so it does not smoothly twirl around the top of the handle to make a circle. It does have a nib for india ink which is cool but stupid–they should have made a better designed pencil lead leg.

Simple Compass The compass is a cheaply made tool where the lead is hard to tighten inside the shaft it’s designed to fit in. It likes to slide itself back up if too much pressure is applied to the compass while turning it.There is a pen head, two needles and one lead holding piece with the compass. It comes with a simple “Made in China” C-Thru protractor. For as cheaply as I paid, I don’t expect much out of it and got precisely that.
