It was totally useless to us This didn’t work for our dog. She’s a cow dog on our farm, very valuable to my husband to work his cows, and roams the neighborhood occasionally and will stay gone for days at a time. We thought we could track her with this, but it kept saying she was within the zone when she wasn’t and got stuck on one spot. It was totally useless to us.
Used to be better When it was the Tagg app I got email and text alerts when my pet left the home area. I was a happy customer until whistle and this tracker came out. It promised faster response times to the pet leaving home area, it still takes at least 10 minutes before it will register my pet as being gone, and there is no way to tell the app that my pet is gone. It won’t allow you to track your pet until it registers as gone.
an honest review from a former TAGG user like some of the other reviews, I am a former TAGG user. I was very happy with the tag unit and phone app for about 6 months. The device and phone unit allowed me to track my dog when he was outside of the house with pretty good accuracy and that was worth $100 + $10 /month. Now, however, it is garbage. Mostly the new WHISTLE app is crowded with stuff surrounding my pets activity, which is worthless to me. I have lab puppy. There is no danger of him not being active. The app is also bloated…
