Inside switch It was a gift to someone. I didn’t use it but upon inspection I found you have to unscrew the cap to turn the light on. Then hold the cap or screw it back on if you wanted to use the light for extended time. Then unscrew the cap to turn it off, then screw it back on again,,, the recipient really liked it because he could charge his phone with it.

This is a great unit for the price This is a great unit for the price. It is bright and it hold a good amount of charge. It also has another light mode not mentioned in the specifications and that is SOS mode. It could be better if it had a way to know how much charge is left. If the O ring on the bottom cap was the right size to actualy work and there was one on the lense cap and if when I plugged the usb cables into it the back didn’t get pushed in. Like I said before for the price it is a great unit.
