not as noisy as plastic, but not quiet either I wrapped these pads in a sheet before having the grand kids sleep on them (on the floor). They had no complaints, but I did hear them rustle when they moved on the pads. I recommend covering them with a blanket to reduce the sound. No one else heard it/was bothered by it. It was easy to inflate/deflate and to store the pads when finished using. I am not sure of durability, but they did last the week they were used. So far, so good.
Leaked for me I test all my camping gear at home before I go camping. It inflated easy with my foot pump. Was shockingly comfy even on hard floor. Material seemed pretty heavy duty. However first time I tested I woke up in the morning with the mattress 90% empty. It leaked during the night to almost completely empty. Thank goodness I tested before I took on a camping trip. Maybe I just got a bad apple.
Good quality A spec sheet that came this item said it was 40D nylon and TPU, not 20D like the listing. I don’t know enough about material thickness to know for sure which it is, but 40 would be thicker/stronger/heavier.I bought it because I wanted to try a lightweight pad that didn’t taper into a mummy shape (which would be best for use inside a mummy sleeping bag and for a little less weight) with the honeycomb design, that is, has hex shaped baffles. It will fit fine in my rectangular summer…
