Not Self Inflating It is a quality product that is comfortable to sleep on and appear durable. It is advertised as a Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad but it is not, at least not as sold here. It looks like it was designed for another device to do the inflating. I had to inflate the devise the old fashioned way. I will concede that it does not take many breaths to inflate it.
Enjoy it. I bought this sleeping pad for backpacking. I tested it out .It is so great and exceeded my expectation! It inflates so quickly and packs down small. I love it.
Leaked for me I test all my camping gear at home before I go camping. It inflated easy with my foot pump. Was shockingly comfy even on hard floor. Material seemed pretty heavy duty. However first time I tested I woke up in the morning with the mattress 90% empty. It leaked during the night to almost completely empty. Thank goodness I tested before I took on a camping trip. Maybe I just got a bad apple.
