Check the seller and notice the size of the cup Some people report getting a fake YETI. Check the seller. This seems to be related to the color. YETI only sells 6 colors. There are 9 colors available on Amazon. The other 3 colors are sold by someone other than “YETI Authorized”. Those could very well be fake.SIZE – I’m a woman with small hands. I wear a Small in gender-neutral gloves. This cup has a nearly 11-inch circumference. My hand reaches about halfway around it, making it uncomfortable to hold while drinking. I’ll be…
not a real Yeti I heard how other reviewers said they didn’t get the real deal and it was a fake. I think that is the case for my purchase, too. It doesn’t keep anything cold for as long as it’s supposed to. Ice melts in it within 4 hours. Having learned my lesson, I went to REI to purchase a real Yeti. To compare, the REI Yeti keeps ice over night and the water is still nice and cold. Lesson learned, won’t buy a Yeti from Amazon.
Looks great, works great, but longevity not so great First off, I loved this water bottle when I first got it. Great capacity, keeps water cold all day, just feels like a nice product. The reason I’m giving it two stars is because I’ve taken very good care of it and after 6 months of use, it’s rusting from the inside, and Yeti’s warranty won’t cover “breakdown of materials over time”. Not something I expect to see from a $40 bottle. I’ll be switching to a different brand for my next bottle, I suggest you do the same if you want something that…
