Tundra Coolers

Meet the original YETI the Tundra. This was our baby. Where it all started. Where we took our frustrations with cheap coolers and over-engineered the hell out of them. We ended up creating a whole new category of coolers with legendary toughness and famed ice retention. And now we make the rugged, all-purpose Tundra in enough sizes to fit any outdoor adventure. There’s a good bit of its DNA in all the other gear we make too, in the form of patented and envied innovations. We’re proud to see the Tundra has grown up to be the father of all coolers.

NeverFail Hinge System Two hinge pins and interlocking design prevent the hinge from ever breaking.

T-Rex Lid Latches Heavy-duty rubber latches are made with patented technology so you’ll never see another busted latch.

Certified Bear-Resistant FatWall Design Extra-thick walls hold up to two inches of insulation for unmatched ice retention.

LipGrip Handles Stay out of the way and make carrying your catch seem less of a chore.

DoubleHaul Handles Made with military-grade polyester rope for extra durability.

Rotomolded Construction Makes it armored to the core and virtually indestructible.

Rugged cooler could support an elephant Really stout cooler and keeps ice frozen all day, as long as you follow the instructions and don’t put cold stuff in it right after taking the cooler out of a hot garage or attic.Everything about the cooler is heavy duty, from the handle on down. Easily doubles as a table or stool. Two cautions if you have never had a hard-sided Yeti cooler; 1. Cooler is heavy for the cooling space it provides and 2. The outside dimensions are large for the same space. Be aware of the…

Keeps food Cold Purchased this for my husband who is on the road regularly. He takes food with him for overnight, and with other coolers, was not keeping cold. With the yeti cooler and a couple of yeti ice blocks his food is now staying cold overnight, and we are no longer throwing food away. I now wish I could find the same thing in a smaller size for when he takes the motorcycle. 🙂

Built like a tank! It arrived with quite a few superficial scratches (about 12). I’m going to be beating this up myself when I go camping, kayaking, or to the beach… so it’s not that big of a deal to me. However, I do believe that if you pay $200 for a cooler, it should arrive in pristine condition. I’ve used it once so far, and the cooler does it’s job as intended. It’s keeps my drinks cold, and it’s a high quality cooler (which is what you’d expect from Yeti). It doesn’t leak, nor does it have…
