Best recommendation–stick with the Brother brand toner for best results! This toner cartridge from the manufacturer is more expensive than “generics,” certainly, but I have never experienced a OEM cartridge to bleed on the edges of copies, have “fuzzy” print or other issues as has happened with refurbished cartridges. Great Yield, Good Price Watched a video on YouTube because I didnât want to do something wrong and make a mess. My husband wasnât home when the cartridge that came with my new machine ran out of toner or ink whatever it is. It was so easy to change the cartridge! I only got a little black smudge on my thumb. Great Product – Lasts Me a Long Time I bought this back in September and I print casually, nothing heavy or dark. I thought using the high yield toner would get me through a whole calendar year but just this month (March), the low toner has emerged. Brother states 2600 pages can be printed but I have probably and (generously) printed 1000 pages of normal school type pages (tests, classwork, quizzes).
