Great entry level walkie talkies! I love the size. I love the ease of use. I love the earpiece! These are very slim line walkie talkies that don’t feel too cheap but clearly aren’t high quality material either; a nice middle ground.I plan on using this for church security so that means I need a few more. These don’t make noise when you broadcast through the Push To Talk (PTT) feature. They are UHF 300 MHZ – 3000 MHZ so they work well for inside buildings due to the shorter wavelength and higher frequency,…

Good radios I bought this Zastone for less than $18, and a pair of Luitons for less than $25. This Zastone claimed 5w of power as opposed to the Luiton at 3w. Don’t kid yourself. These are all the same radios with a different brand on them. I’m not sure how one could pull five watts out of a three watt battery. Do I feel ripped off? No. Frankly these are great little radios at either price. Regardless of brand, they are programmed with identical frequencies. The quality of transmission seems to be…

Incredible 440 handheld radio for the price As a long time ham radio operator, I was a bit skeptical when I saw this radio and the extremely low price. Having now owned and operated this radio, my skepticism is gone. I programmed in my local 440 repeaters and began operating. Seeing the tiny antenna, I wasn’t too hopeful. Don’t let the short and enclosed antenna fool you. I’m hitting a repeater that is 30 miles away. I’m getting reports from other local ham radio operators that my audio quality is consistent with my high-priced…
