so far so good OK I tested by leaving hot water in there for 5 hrs. and longer. It definitely kept hot water, still hot after 5 hrs. and still lukewarm after over 12hrs. I was so excited so I bought another one of this product for my son. I will do the hot water test today. I also will make lunch with warm rice in it for my kids tomorrow and see what they will say after school. I will update the review after that.
i have 3 kids and they like to take warm food to school i purchased 3 of these in all colors. i have 3 kids and they like to take warm food to school. Well these fit the bill perfectly! kept food warm from 7:45am until 11:30am when the lunch hour is at school.
Love it Love this jar!! Bigger than the character ones, keeps food hot (I pre-warm the jar w hot water while I heat up the food). A little hard for my 5 year old to open, but not harder than any other jar. Works so great, I bought a back-up in another color. In the photo I included the one we used previously- the black one. It did not keep food as hot, and is much smaller and harder to open.
