Well worth the money Excellent item, exactly as described….we use them up here on the farm when it is necessary to check on the horses after dark…the lights spooked them at first, but after a few days, they are fine. Very bright, reliable light source.
They are very bright! These headlamps are very bright! Only little thing I don’t like is that they only have two buttons to switch between modes (white light/red light), so you have to press the same button for high beam, low beam, or strobe light. I still recommend them though because I think they are a good value and I was impressed with how bright they are. The quality seems great and they are comfortable to wear.
You’ll be happy with them PROS: Light weight; efficient with batteries; separate buttons for white and red lights; headband allows for quick & continuous adjustment unlike most brands; white light is very bright in low and hi modes; red light is excellent for reading (not overly bright)CONS: Red light is too dim and widely cast so at times it is very difficult walking at night or accomplishing tasks in the dark (unless it’s right next to you); feels fragile although I have backpacked/camped with it 3 times…
