They work well! These are a great back plan if its cold, you need a fire and don’t feel like Bear Grylls at the moment. Tried them on a stick pile in the snow a week ago and had a good fire going in a couple minutes with a single match. I carry these and some matches in a zip lock bag when hiking and hope I never NEED to use them….
As expected, good quality Works good, easy to light, burns for a long time. You can sometimes start with a fire starter, if not just scrap some off with a knife, like kindling, and it will light up just fine and be enough to light the whole stick. I prefer to break them in half to get more uses out of them
They work. This is about my 7th pack of these I think. They work. They are small. They are cheap. Just buy them. I take these camping and use them when things are a little damp. They don’t take up much room and aren’t heavy. Coghlan’s makes quality things. I own a few of their products. Can’t beat a good ol’ fashioned american American camping company.
