Worth every cent Ive used this to rough cut spoons forks and a knife so far as well as taking it camping.The factory edge was very sharp iused it heavily for a few days before even attempting to sharpen it.The leather sheath fits snugly. I have not seen any rubbing of the axe on rivets of the sheath. (Picture included)Worked surprisingly well splitting wood on our camping trip as well.
Unbelievably Good Product! 100% Perfect for My Needs! This is the most beautiful hatchet I have ever owned. The handle is beautiful, the sheath is beautiful, and the head is polished to a super nice finish. I was getting ready for a campaign trip and needed to replace my hatchet. Incredible Right out of the box I love it! Generally I do not do a review on a tool straight from the box but this earned it. The handle is perfect from grain orientation to the shape plus a linseed oil finish. Finally a correct finish on a handle! The head came hair popping sharp I’m very impressed with the edge. The sheath is American made and very high quality. Also I got all the accessories with the hatchet. Adding on a few months of heavy use I had to put an edge on it but I can cut 6″-8″…
