Finally have ice again After about 6 months or so without ice. I finally got off my butt & fixed the problem. First off I replaced the water valve. Because I read somewhere, that it was the most common thing that went bad. But it wasn’t that. It was the actual ice maker. It was an easy removal/install process. Maybe took less than 10 mins. Replaced it before I went to work. When I got off work I had a tray full of ice. Good product so far. (it’s only been a few days) lol I’ll update in a year or so

Easy to install Our Frigidaire ice maker quit working after four years. Initially I was hesitant to order a non-OEM part but then rationalized that the OEM part didn’t last very long so why would I want another just like it? I looked at a couple installation videos and replaced my old ice maker in 10 minutes. Just had to loosen two screws, squeeze the wire connector to disconnect it, and pull out the old ice maker. My original ice maker did have the metal bracket but it was not secured to the freezer wall…

Works with different models- cheaper than calling someone Frigidaire apparently has used this with differnt models. I was hesitant to buy because I couldn’t find the exact model or part #. It isn’t the original model I got (see pics) but is the same manufacturer and works great (green tag is old, red is new). Ours broke like 3 months after Fridgidaire warranty expired. I’ve added some pics that will hopefully help someone (click found helpful review if it did so it’ll help more- I struggled finding help in the questions/reviews and kind of went out on…
