Also love the strap. Thought it would be bothersome, but perfect for staying on during the rides and on a boat or windy day at the beach. Also will last a while. Perfect, adjustable tightening elastic around the head.The under-chin strap is quite loose and probably would be useless for the toddler age (kids who try to take off the hat) unless you can manage to tie it, or sew on extra Velcro.
