Good Item But Check Often These are bright flares for road use with a handy sack. I’m concerned about battery leakage as something like this could sit for years in a temperature uncorolled trunk so I think I will ultimately replace the alkaline batteries with lithium batteries after a year or two.

Surprisingly bright These are actually great. They’re very bright. The magnet and hook are great ideas and work really well. We tested them at night and you can see them from a long ways off, especially when they’re set to blink. Heck, they even double as an extra flashlight. The little bag… kind of a waste. There are a whole bunch of different settings that affect how they behave and, I suspect, their battery life. The only concern I have is the battery, but I didn’t want to burn one out testing it. I’ll turn…

So much better than the old So much better than the old, dangerous road flairs….besides that last longer, and really gets your attention. While on vacation out west, cam upon an accident at a dangerous intersection, and noticed the police onsite were using these devices to assist redirecting traffic around the area…they were thrown on the ground near the intersection, and you would have to be blind not to see them….absolutely great item to invest in, especially if you have an emergency alerting others of potential…
