Filters are only lasting about a WEEK. 8-10 gallons of water before needing replacement. I bought these in the 12 pack to save money. Ya right. When I first started using the Zero Water filters, I’d get about a month out of one filter as we have hard water. With this last purchase of filters I’m getting about a WEEK for one filter. That’s about 8-10 gallons of water. That’s it!! Filter enclosures are releasing filtering particles into the pitcher reservoir There seems to be a production issue with these filters because this has become common: As I refill the pitcher reservoir repeatedly, over time little pieces of filtering substance are making their way out of the filter and ending up in the top reservoir. (See attached pic.)These are very expensive filters, so it’s disappointing to find the design allows filter particulates to escape and slop around inside the pitcher.
These are knock off, less life Zero Water Filters sold by Amazon that are possibly recycled & resold to us through Amazon LLC. I was purchasing my Zero Water Filters for at least 2 years from Amazon, through Amazon LLC to be clear & in the big packs being the 8 & the 12 packs. Not anymore I’m not & will not!! I was noticing that my Zero Water Filters were going bad very quickly after just 1 month of use which they never used to & would last me 3 to 4 months at least which was awesome & made me really like the quality of Zero Water & the taste.
