handle has excellent tack to it and the blade is heavy enough … Every bit as sharp as you’d expect coming out of the box from Cold Steel, handle has excellent tack to it and the blade is heavy enough to flick open from the down carry draw with a little practice and proper angling. I chose this one for the clip point purely for self defense stabbing capacity, the tanto edge imo is better suited for larger heavier blades that you can use with brute impact. Cold Steel does it again… Decided to add this knife to my collection. I bought the COLD STEEL Brooklyn Crusher a few months back and wanted to try out their knives. Love the grip on this blade. Finish is very nice, super sharp. Opening can be a challenge with one hand if your hands are smaller. You may want to consider a smaller version. The action is stiff as well. Nothing that adjusting the tension or lube couldn’t fix though. Highly recommend.

One sexy beast! One sexy beast. This thing feels awesome in hand. I have medium large hands and this knife locks into my grip better than any of 200+ other folders in my collection. Hard use, tactical defense, bush craft, survival and/or EDC, this folder checks all the boxes except perhaps a gentleman’s dress folder.
