And… here is my two cents. Excellent knife for the money, there’s not a whole lot I can say about this knife that hasn’t already been said. I will however, note that under extreme scrutinization of the blade either side was off a degree or two from the other. But putting the knife on the wicked edge pro system made the edge bevel perfect. First impressons I just received this knife and I haven’t really put it through any rigorous testing, so this will be a first impressions review. I’ve wanted a Cold Steel knife since the mid 90’s because of their reputation for quality. Like everything I purchase, I did my research. This steel is crazy… This steel is amazing. I put a good edge on it with an 8000 grit Shapton Whetstone and I can easily slice through sushi, rope, paper, hair, whatever you put in front of it. Aus8 never again. Handle feels good in hand, I don’t try to flick it open because the steel is significantly heavier than the handle which gives it an off balanced feel while opening, but this this is super solid. Of course, tri-ad locking mechanism, very trustworthy blade. My EDC for sure.
