Compass – Okay; Box – Terrible I purchased this item as an office gift for a coworker. The compass itself looks nice, is (moderately) functional, and is a nice office gift. However, the decorative box it came in is a different story. Either the wood warped during shipping, or was crafted poorly. It neither closes nor opens all the way. There is a 1/4″ gap between the lid and the rest of the box in the front, meaning the box never reaches a fully-closed position. When the lid is opened, the small hinges result in…
