Great above-the-ankle hiking socks! These are perfect for summer hiking in the mountains of California. I’m a women’s size 10 so I went with the larger size and they hit just above the ankle. They are lightweight enough for the hiking when it’s warm, but thick enough to not get blisters. Very comfortable! I just wish they made the women’s colors in a size 10!
Why don’t they come in medium sizes for women??? Good quality socks for sure, but I only gave 4 stars because I am frustrated that this company still only has “small size” socks for the women. (I did get the small women but they are too snug.) When I tried to order the women’s medium size, it kept ‘flipping me back’ to the picture of the men’s medium blue (picture on the left here). Totally Awesome Socks. I am very picky about my hiking socks. I thought I would try out this brand but wasn’t sure if I’d like them. I love them. They are great. They are comfortable, fit well and don’t bunch or cause sweating. I highly recommend these socks for serious hikers or anyone who likes well fitting comfortable socks.
