Perfect set! We love this compact cooking set. It’s lightweight and easy to tote on a backpacking trip. It was perfect for our daughter’s overnight hike, it’s probably more of a one person size. It’s easy to clean and comes with a mesh bag for storage. We would definitely recommend it to a friend!
Light, compact, inexpensive I have some higher quality (ie very expensive) packing cook sets but with my son getting old enough to start going on backpacking trips I wanted something a bit more appropriate for him (I won’t have to kill him when he loses or damages it). This fit the bill perfectly! It’s very compact and light weight, with all the basics that you need for a camp meal. Great set for the trail or at base camp. This set is light weight an stacks together compactly. Worked well with my old school Sterno stove. I can’t wait to get out on the trail with it.Pros: Quality construction with great handles. The melamime scoop and bowls are sturdy enough to handle abuse and heat (but they are a little small). Comes with a nice mesh bag to hold it all together.Cons: The scrub pad will only last for a few cleanings (but I would still get this again).
