The skewers feel sturdy and extend to nearly 4 ft long These arrived in a sharp package and convenient, zippered, storage pouch. The first thing that my 4 year old niece wanted to verify was whether the handles would glow in the dark. They do! The skewers feel sturdy and extend to nearly 4 ft long; plenty long enough to allow my niece to roast her marshmallows at a safe distance from the campfire. Happy Camper Our roasting sticks arrived today. They were in perfect condition. The glow in the dark handles are bright and will be great around the fire at night. They are much longer than one we already owned, like 10 inches longer. The base is also sturdier. These will be great for brats as well as lighter things like hot dogs and marshmallows. Can’t wait for this weekend’s campfire.
