Who needs $200 shoes??? I broke these suckers in right! I did a 17 mile hike in them up Rainbow Falls to Mt. Le Conte and back down Trillium in the Smoky Mountains. The hike is considered strenuous and the second hardest in the Smokies. The shoe did not disappoint. I felt I had good grip through the icy terrain and felt confident wit each step. Get a full size larger! No kidding! These are great shoes, but they run SERIOUSLY small. PLEASE pay attention to the other reviewers (and myself) who warn you to buy a full size larger than you normally do. I saw that advice, and thought: hey, Adidas has been making running shoes for a long time. Surely they know how to size them by now.
