Stiff, not very flexible I really was hoping these would work for me. I am a city mail carrier and i walk 13.2 miles a day. They were loose fitting and did not flex well in the mid foot area. I could not handle much more as my feet felt as if they were on fire from fighting the stiffness of the shoe. Felt decent out of the box just standing but not on the streets.

If you have a wider toe area and like the feeling of letting you fore foot spread out you will like these shoes. They are just wide without looking like you’re wearing swimming fins.

Wide heel but great quality Shoe felt very well made, ran maybe a touch large. Had to return because the heel was too wide so my heel slipped all over the place just walking around my living room. Bummer, because seemed like a great shoe. The two sets of insoles were a particularly cool touch, since sometimes you want to wear thin athletic socks and sometimes you need thick hiking socks. Ah well, not the first great shoe my weird feet haven’t fit well (for reference, Keens are my best-fitting brand).
