Great shoe for running in sever conditions I wore these for my first outdoor obstacle course race. I ran through ponds, mud bogs, grass and rocks. I climbed wooden, rope and metal obstacles. They shoes performed like a champ. They didn’t retain a bunch of water and result in that sloshy feel. The traction in the mud was great, many others were slipping around while i was not. Great comfortable all-around trail-walker-hiker shoes that are lightweight but durable Just received my Terrex shoes yesterday, on schedule, packing and shipping were impeccable. These shoes aren’t quiteas bulky or “boot-like” as I thought they might be from the photos, but, they are lightweight and super comfortable as can be,true to size (I’m a basic 8 in all my other Adidas sneakers etc., same fit here, snug but not too deadly tight, and not too wide or narrow),and they seem rugged without being too bulky. Rock on! Love them. Used them for a recent trip to Egypt. They are lightweight, great tread, breathable, look sharp, clean easy, and are well made. I have so many Adidas sneakers. These seemed just a bit snug throughout the middle for my medium foot and worked well with thin socks. You may want to go a size up if you plan on wearing thicker tube socks or winter socks.
