Great Exploration Kit! The kit was a big hit with my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. She loves the magnifying glass, carries it around all day, looking at things inside the house and in the yard, especially the bugs. The binoculars, which focus easily for everyone, are another hit. Theyâre low power, Iâd have guessed less than 4x, but they work and she enjoys them. She likes the flashlight, and is a pro at cranking it. The whistle is of course a hit. The compass may be beyond her, though she wants to go outside…
Poor Quality The kit looks very impressive Poor QualityThe kit looks very impressive. My grandson loved all the different gadgets. The binoculars are a great disappointment. Material is of poor quality and focusing on anything is nearly impossible. I bought this kit to teach and encourage my grandson to take a closer look at the world around him. Unfortunately with such poor quality the idea behind the lesson was lost.
Great gift ideas for 3-5 year olds! Great gift idea for young explorers. My 3 year old received one as a Christmas present and since then we’ve purchased a few as birthday gifts for his friends. Always a hit! Quite durable too expect for the whistle which broke after a few months (but my toddler may have had something to do with that and his carefulness with toys).
