Almost there, but not quite… I researched this as a gift for my elderly mother. It is what as described, compact, stylish and easy to maintain. However, reading reviews about this product on this and other sites, a number of owners report that the unit tends to leak. I think I know why. 1 gallon of water equates to 8 pounds in weight. Works good.. BUT.. I love the design and the price of this unit. And, would have given it 5 stars.. But it does require some effort to get maximum results. As for the reviewers who have had problems with leaks, I have not had those problems unless I fail to line up the tanks properly when reinstalling them. It usually creates a small spill which is easily cleaned up. Now, on to the bugaboos.First off, the filters will not last an entire season unless, maybe you have perfect water with no minerals…
